The Stress Thermometer is the cheapest biofeedback monitor available.
This extremely sensitive small hand held thermometer can read your stress levels.
How does it work
When you are stressed your body's fight/flight system is activated.
The muscles tense up
The vital organs speed up
As a result, blood flow is moved away from the extremities and directed to the vital organs.
This is shown as a temperature reading on the thermometer.
60-79 - Tense
79-84 - Slightly Anxious
84-90 - Mildly Worried
90-95 - Room for Improvement
95 - Relaxed.
The thermometer has no mercury in it, it is non toxic, however the tube is glass so it should be kept away from babies and children.
The long term goal is to consistently raise your temperature to 95F. and above using the power of your mind
If you have cold hands or warm hands due to external factors e.g. cold weather or a hot cup of tea the monitor will not be accurate.
The most accurate reading is done by attaching the thermometer to your index finger with sticky tape. For a quick reading, do what is shown in the video.
Simply watch, as over time you learn to relax and the temperature rises.
