Sensations in Hypnosis

Hi there, I would be grateful for an answer to this question: When I practice Hypnosis sometimes I am just very relaxed (usually can't feel my feet) but sometimes it feels like I am much deeper I seem to lift up and twist, sort of spin and see all sort of purple shapes. Do the various sensations mean that I am sometimes in a different state to just relaxation ? Sharon xWhen you relax and slowly lose external sensations your mind likes to fill in the gaps, sometimes it daydreams, but normally as in your case sensations fill these gaps. It is what many try and acheive an alternative sense of self. (charles vald)

Oh thats interesting Thank you for the prompt reply. Sharon (Sunbeam)

Its's great feeling all this and I am pleased that I am enjoying it (had a bad experience with a hypnotherapist many years ago) :( Trouble is despite all the positive talk and affirmations I still manage to slip into anxiety states in normal situations (picking kids up from school, hospital appts). I have been seeing a hypnotherapist locally and my confidence has soared but the anxiety is very sticky. Any of your Cd's you would recommend ? Sharon (Sunbeam)

the pain anxiety attack cd seems to be the one. Hasn't your therapist taught you self hypnosis to help in these situations? http://www.hypnosishealthcare.com/hypnosis_panic_attacks_stop_them.html Warm regards Charles (charles vald)

Hi thanks for the reply. The therapsit has helped me a lot and I have dealt with some very painful memories. I just seem to get very stuck with the anxiety. Thanks for your help. Love the IBS induction by the way. Sharon (Sunbeam)
