Have signed up!
[Back]
Well, after a lot of thought, many hours of scouring the net and advice from Charles and our-kate I have actually signed up for a correspondance course in Hynotherapy and one in Psychotherapy and Counselling. :)
Ideally I would love to do a practical group or one to one training but finances will not allow at all so maybe in the future sometime who knows?
David, a member here, offerred me help personally last year when I posted saying I needed some self esteem. He has been extremely helpful to me and I am currently using hypnosis with him for weight loss then we are going to work on my 'other' needs!
I have been inspired so much by him that I have decided to study the subject myself, and also inspired by a lot of you also after reading your posts about hypnosis.
I hope if ( or should I say 'when' ?? ) I have questions that I can come here for support, advice and guidance from you all. It would be much appreciated. :D
Charles, what music out of all your wonderful CD's do you think is best for me to buy to use with my 'volunteers' that I will be practising with for background when hypnotising?Hope you enjoy the course :) so did you go with Robert Shields or another one?
Anyway regarding music,.
The music used on a lot of my hypnosis cds is beauty of life

However this is not royalty free so you can't create your own cds from it, if you are after that then a lot of people like breath of time 2 which is available in my royalty free pack

Obviously the best way is to listen and to see what you like the most
All the best
Charles (charles vald)
Thanks Charles,
I haven't actually gone with Robert Shields in the end.
I have signed up with School of Natural Health Sciences as they were doing an offer on their package for the basic and then the advanced course.
I will go listen to the music now. Thanks again! (Purple)[quote:731ab6d81c="charles vald"]

I have ordered this now Charles, I got the royalty free one's in case I do decide to do some CD's in the future.
Can you advise, or anyone else, if I make some CD's for clients to take home and use etc; is there anywhere on the net that I can get the appropriate equipment and do this through my computer or does one have to have special recording equipment and sound studios etc? I am completely ignorant on this.
All help and advice much appreciated as always :) (Purple)
its easier than you think.
Software simply download a free copy of audacity
and buy a decent usb microphone :)
then the hard bit, find a silent time to record. (charles vald)Wow! thank you Charles, James has microphones. I will check with him if they are usb.
As for the silent time, that will definately be the most difficult part :!: :!:
Even when everyone is out there are telephones and animals here that ensure the occassional surprise just when you think you have peace and quiet!
Thanks for your help. :) (Purple)
A normaly microphone will fit if its the small 3.5 socket in the back of a computer but you get more hiss, hence why usb but give it a go. (charles vald)OK, thanks! (Purple)
