Couple of questions about CDs
[Back]
Hi Charles,
I was wondering whether you use subliminal messages on any of your CDs?
Also, some of the titles seem to overlap, so I was wondering the main differences between the following were:
Guided meditation
Deep relaxation
Silk blanket
Calming silence awakens
TIA
wingsofloveNo I don't use subliminal message I should put this cleared on the website.
Never have and never well.
All my hypnosis CDs start with the same powerful induction track because it seems time and time again to be liked by all.
So Deep Relaxation is simply that. Short and sweet good for learning self hypnosis with.
Guided meditation starts with the induction and then uses the music from instrumental meditaion with speech and goes into focusing on shapes and colours. It is a really lovely experience.
Silk Blanket is simply music used by therapist mainly for meditation and hypnosis as you can buy it also royalty free
Silence Awakens is one of my earlier music albums and I would honestly suggest you buy Silk Blanket or say Breath of Time instead, it was created as a calming album and seems to be liked by a select few.
With the audio demonstrations you can find out which ones you prefer. (charles vald)

glad to hear it - I have always felt rather dubious of that. I'm sure it can be amazingly positive, but being a control freak, I prefer to choose what I am listening to
Thanks for highlighting the differences; that was very helpful.
wingsoflove (wingsoflove)[color=blue:b91b4fcb13]I had a meditation CD with subliminal messages, all of which were printed out on the cover, and I quite liked the messages, so I was OK with it.
I also recorded subliminal messages in my own voice on the Centerpointe CDs; and they reinforced that I am a wonderful human being with great abilities which I can use for the good of others.
So, maybe, the principle of subliminal messages isn't bad; it's how we use them that we have to be careful about.

I had a patient email me today asking if there were any subliminal messages in the music after the hypnosis induction, it is something that concerns many people. (charles vald)[color=blue:f9a145b71d]Sure, it's something that concerns some people, so to state that your CDs are subliminal message-free is helpful for them.
My point was that there's nothing wrong with subliminal messages, handled correctly, wherein lies the rub.
If you had a demand for CDs with subliminal messages, would you use them in your products in that case? If not, why not?
I'd be interested in your response!
Thanks and kind regards,

I would tell the client that there is need to use them, as the messages will get to the subliminal spoken aloud. (charles vald)
