Sure you have heard on the news or in thepaperes that a US study claims that if you take more Vitamin D it can cut the risk of getting some cancers by up to a half. The study was taken by the University of California and it found that the "natural" form of the vitamin D3, seems to cut the chances of developing breast, colon and ovarian cancer. D3 is produced in the skin by sunlight, but can be obtained from certain foods. Its effects are shown most against colorectal cancer I don't know if this is correct but foods such as salmon, orange juice, yogurt contain vitamin d3I hadn't heard about this Charles. Interesting. I like orange juice and yoghurt but am not a fish eater at all. (Purple)
